During the fair "Move it Expo", the logistic promotion associations from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine (ELC-Limburg, Logistiek Platform Limburg, IHK Aachen et Logistics in Wallonia) will organise a seminar with the toppic : "The challenge of cultural differences in logistics".

This event will take place at the Limburghal in Genk on the thursday 18 march between 16h and 19h.

The Euregio Meuse-Rhine has major logistic assets; the different parts of the Euregio should then actively collaborate. But it appears that real collaborations remain difficult. Why ? Without any doubt, cultural differences play a major role in this. This is what we will try to see during this seminar which is promising.

Attention : the seminar will be exclusively in English !

17h10 : presentation by Rob Kwikkers, associate professor of Supply Chain Management Fontys University of Applied Science

17h35 : presentation by Paul Cornelissen, president of the Logistiek Platform Limburg (LPL) and manager of Meulenberg Transport in Stein (NL).

18h00 : presentation by Ruth Coolen; this german lady works intensively for the marketing of Liège Airport

18h20 : questions / answers with Claude Yvens

18h30 : end of program and cocktail
