Companies, logistics operators, universities, research centres, specialised colleges, skills centres, public infrastructure managers,
services providers…
3 types of partnership…
Private partners
They are at the heart of the strategy and development of the Centre:
• through investing in projects within the sector
• through enabling players within the sector to achieve excellence in their occupations
• through providing the Centre with an international dimension and outlook
• through offering an opportunity for dialogue, for networking and for the defence of interests.
Players in the field of training and research
Research and training form part of the strategic directions of the Centre and of its desire to position Wallonia both locally and internationally.
• Training: a skills profile in tune with market demands
• Research: developing new products, procedures and knowledge to aid in the development of the sector.
Public or public-private partners
They support the activity and the strategy of the Centre in terms of overall infrastructure issues with respect to logistics sites:
• site operation
• various services:
- making available well-connected real estate infrastructures
- evaluating and instigating infrastructure-related investments
- maintenance and repair
- management of aspects related to site security
- support and advice relating to sites
• managing any financial participation which may arise
• considerations, action and management of environmental issues.
These therefore represent substantial players, as the quality of the infrastructure and allied services form part of the primary criteria which guide the choices made by investors.
