AI in Logistics : « From immersive experience to real impact »

AI in Logistics: « From immersive experience to real impact »

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere but you are still reflecting on :

  • Where can AI genuinely save time, accelerate processes and improve productivity ?
  • Which applications are delivering value today, and which remain more promise than reality ?
  • How to move from experimentation to sustainable business impact ?

To address that challenge, Deloitte and Logistics in Wallonia are organising an exclusive half-day immersive experience combining a guided visit to LogiVille, near Willebroek, with an interactive workshop facilitated by Deloitte logistics experts to explore use cases and business impact :

  1. First moment : Exclusive Immersive experience at LogiVille

LogiVille’s Experience Centre immerses businesses in the logistics of the future with visualisation, customisation, and digital storytelling

You will be guided through a VIP tour built on “AI in Operations: Maximise Efficiency, Minimise Cost”, coming across a series of company booths to discover how these organisations are using AI to organise day-to-day processes more smartly. The visit will provide examples across 3 areas :

  • Operational processes : including automation, route optimisation, stock optimisation and task management.
  • Administrative processes : including document processing, data entry, workflow automation and order entry.
  • Support processes : including HR, safety, ergonomics and inspections.

The visit will help you build a concrete picture of where AI is already making a difference, its potential impact on the shop floor and the opportunities it may create for your own organisation.

  1. Second moment :  Deloitte workshop, moving from examples to value

Building on the examples observed during LogiVille’s theme tour, a workshop facilitated by Deloitte experts will then create space for discussion, challenge and application.

You will explore :

  • The impact of AI on the logistics industry : Key trends, opportunities, and challenges shaping the future of logistics.
  • AI Use Cases in Logistics – Hype vs Reality : Practical applications, implementation lessons, success factors, and common pitfalls.
  • Driving Value from AI and Managing the Human Shift : Moving from experimentation to business impact while supporting adoption, skills, and workforce transformation.

The workshop will connect external inspiration with business reality, moving the conversation from “What is possible ?” to “What could be relevant and valuable for us ?”

💡 What will you take away ?

✓ Clarity on where AI can offer the greatest added value.

✓ Inspiration from practical applications across logistics processes.

✓ A more realistic perspective on AI use cases and the considerations behind implementation.

✓ Ideas for organising processes more efficiently and identifying opportunities to save time, reduce costs and increase productivity.

✓ A better understanding of the human and organisational shift required to support AI adoption.

This is not simply a conversation about AI technology: it is an opportunity to experience what is already possible, understand what creates value and begin turning inspiration into informed action.
