The Walloon region of Belgium has put in place an unprecedented multi-sector policy of
Competence Centres in order to speed up industrial redeployment. This political desire has created a dynamism which brings together a substantial number of
players from the domains of industry and science. Five sectors of activity have been chosen due to their potential for economic development.
Amongst these sectors, that of transport and logistics plays a strategic and very specific role, thanks to its network of dynamic services providers, its recent rate of growth, its transversal nature and its future prospects.
