MultiModal Wallonia, in line with the Walloon government “FAST 2030“ program, which aims for smoother and safer mobility. The aim is to increase the share of river transport to 18% and rail transport to 10% by 2030, compared with current shares of 4% for river transport and 7% for rail transport.
The MultiModal Wallonia program encourages the use of alternative and complementary modes of transport to road, such as river and rail, helping companies to efficiently combine different modes of transport and optimise their transport volumes.
MultiModal Wallonia support includes a supply chain analysis to identify optimal solutions and partners, thus facilitating the operational implementation of suitable alternative transport.
