THE PROJECT:

100,000 CorkConcept boxes sold = approximately 500 tons of waste.
The CorkConcept project aims to develop and market insulated packaging that combines:

  • 100% ecological components;
  • Temperature maintenance within ranges at least as effective as those of more polluting competitors;
  • Long durations (up to 120 hours, suitable for international transport, for example).

CorkConcept is an innovative packaging solution:

Today, CorkConcept is the only natural packaging in the world that allows the transport of temperature-sensitive products over durations of up to 120 hours.
The packaging enables the preservation of products over a wide temperature range, from -70°C to +25°C.

The 3 main advantages of CorkConcept:

  • It will now be possible to transport temperature-sensitive products using a standard carrier.
    This will significantly reduce costs compared to refrigerated truck transport;
  • Maximum accessibility in urban areas, as the box can be transported by taxi, bicycle, or on foot;
  • The box is made from natural materials, and the end user will be able to recycle it through standard recycling channels.
