SLS surgical logistics system
THE PROJECT:
There is currently no software that brings together the procedures and actions of all stakeholders involved in the care of a patient before, during, and after surgery.
SLS is a software that reminds each person of what they need to do to optimize the surgical process.
It can be compared to:
- A GPS: In emergency surgery, SLS quickly reconfigures operating room occupancy, ensuring each procedure can take place the same day.
- An air traffic control tower: It ensures every team member fulfills their role correctly to guarantee smooth operations and patient safety.
The software is based on artificial intelligence. The AI records events and derives statistics. Then, SLS asks the right preventive questions to the relevant team member or sends an alert if necessary.
