Vegeta: the flaw in paper as a single signature

THE PROJECT:
The Vegeta project offers tamper-proof certificates.
The goal? To quickly detect items that are supposed to be on the market and those that, coming from illegal production channels, should not be there.
What’s the difference from existing technologies?
The flaws in the certificate paper are used to authenticate the document. These flaws, invisible to the naked eye, are unique and impossible to reproduce.
This new technology also offers additional applications:
- Scanned at each stage of the journey, the uniqueness of the paper allows for object traceability;
- Without their unique signature certificate, items will have no value. Manufacturers will control the number of units in circulation on the market and thus prevent the endless reproduction of fakes that look like the real thing;
- In the context of confidential document exchanges between law firms, documents could also be traced and authenticated thanks to their paper signature.
