You are an entity established in Wallonia:
You can benefit from financial assistance in order to set up a collaborative project whose ambition is to foster the realization of:
- Technical, regulatory or operational feasibility studies for new concepts.
- Operational tests of a prototype or an original solution.
- Initiatives enabling the deployment of new skills.
- Original concepts to enhance the image of the goods mobility field.
Interested? Participate in the “SRM/M – Preparing for the future” call for projects by completing the online form before October 2, 2025 (see terms and conditions in “Procedure” below).
Any entity established in Wallonia, including in particular:
- Companies established in the form of a commercial company (SA, SRL, SC…);
- Non-profit associations (ASBL)
- Acredited universities, colleges and research centers
- Training organizations

The ambition of this call is to encourage:
- Technical, regulatory or operational feasibility studies for new concepts.
- Operational tests of a prototype or original solution.
- Initiatives enabling the deployment of new skills.
- Original concepts to enhance the image of the freight mobility field.
The project submitted must fit into at least one of the eight themes of the call for projects:
- Circular logistics;
- System interoperability and security;
- Data analysis and intelligence;
- Sustainable logistics and transport;
- Urban logistics;
- Transport efficiency and safety;
- Multimodal travel chains;
- Infrastructure availability to serve users.
The project brings together at least 2 partners in a consortium.
In the case of feasibility studies or operational testing of an original solution, at least one SME from the Wallonia region will be part of the partnership.
Only project partners established and active in Wallonia through their head office or a place of business can be funded under this call for projects.

Your application must be sent to Logistics in Wallonia by completing and validating the online form accessible below in the “Useful links” section before October 2, 2025.

- Full description of the project in PDF format (see details in the Rules of the call for projects);
- The agreement or written legal deed formalizing the partnership between the various partners;
- If applicable, the declaration on honor relating to conflicts of interest;
- The declaration on honor relating to state aid and de minimis aid;
Relevance of the project (weighting: 40%)
- Suitability of the project with the objectives of the call for projects
- Innovative nature of the project
- Contribution to the environmental objectives of the SRM/M
- Suitability of the proposed partnership
Technical feasibility (weighting: 30%)
- Suitability of resources mobilized in relation to objectives
- Suitability of implementation budget
- Suitability of implementation schedule
- Identification of risks during implementation and proposed solutions
Economic viability (weighting: 30%)
- Sustainability of the project after the call for projects
- Replicability of the project
- Creation of long-term economic value, employment and environmental impact
Application files will be analyzed by the “Preparing for the future” WG Governance Committee, which will propose this selection decision to the Minister, who will rule on it. This governance committee will be made up of representatives from the following categories, for a total of 12 people:
- SPW Mobility Infrastructure (1 person)
- SPW Economy Employment Research (1 person)
- Logistics in Wallonia (1 person)
- Walloon Universities (3 people)
- Forem (1 person)
- Agence du Numérique (ADN) (1 person)
- ABCAL (Association Belge des Cadres d’Achat et de Logistique) (1 person)
- Company representatives (3 persons)
