Innovation projects

We see innovation for businesses as a source of inspiration for attracting new talent, a key means of raising your company’s profile and opening doors to considerable opportunities.

Logistics in Wallonia stimulates innovation within Walloon companies and creates synergies with research players, facilitating the development of innovative projects.

The aim is to foster collaboration with key players in the fields of transport, logistics, supply chain and mobility, so as to rapidly integrate new technologies. Cooperation between companies, universities and research centers is crucial to transforming theoretical concepts into locally applicable solutions.

In order to obtain funding, all projects must go through the labeling process. The cluster is permanently at your side to support and guide you through these various stages, thus guaranteeing the success and impact of your projects.

These projects must be associated with various research players (universities and research centers) and fall within a strategic area of activity (SAD):

1.Sustainable logistics and mobility: solutions aimed at making logistics and mobility more environmentally friendly, reducing GHG emissions from logistics or mobility activities, and improving the environment or working conditions of the people involved in these activities.

2. Intelligent and efficient means of transport: solutions improving the safety, efficiency and connectivity of current and future means of transport.

3.Intelligent infrastructures and transport systems: solutions enabling optimal use and availability of physical infrastructures supporting logistics and mobility.

4. Efficient logistics and production processes: solutions optimizing the logistics performance of a set of players or an organization along the value chain.

Projects are eligible for funding depending on their nature and the size of the company, ranging from 40% to 80%. Universities receive 100% funding, while accredited research centers receive up to 85%.
